Deep-sea fishing in the Turks and Caicos is unrivalled. The unique location of the islands offers sport anglers’ waters as deep as 3,000 feet at the drop-off—such opportunities existing only minutes from Parrot Cay. And with perfect spawning grounds for large game fish, fishing here is also good all year round, with particular times of the year where certain fish are plentiful.
Blue Marlin is, of course, the most popular game fish and particularly abundant in the summer months (May to September), when they can be caught in record numbers. Most fish are 100 to 200 pound males with the occasional 400 pound fish caught.
November to April sees the best time for White Marlin, Wahoo, Tuna and King Fish, Yellowfin Tuna and Sailfish.
Parrot Cay staff are practised in finding you the right captain and boat for your charter. Both full and half-day charters are available, with the possibility of deep-sea charters being picked up at Parrot Cay. Otherwise a transfer to Providenciales is easily arranged.
