Seasonality

Miami is an excellent year-round destination with a subtropical climate that affords warm, dry winters and hot, humid summers. Average temperatures run from 61-73°F (16-23°C) in January to 75-88°F (24-31°C) in July and August. High season in Miami, when South Beach is at its busiest, runs from January to April. Even during the winter you’ll rarely feel cold in Miami, so pack light and bring plenty of sunscreen.

Design

When looking for a design hotel, Metropolitan Miami Beach is a contemporary classic. Interiors by Italian designer Paola Navone strike the perfect balance between playful nostalgia and sophisticated modernity. The 1930s building is considered a gem of the American Art Deco style. It has been sensitively restored to reflect its status as one of Miami Beach’s Historic Properties, and is protected by the city’s Historic Preservation Board.
