The Concept
Plantation House is where the food philosophy is at its most rigorous around Chef Daniel’s passion for farm-to-fork, ocean-to-earth dining. It is the main dining location of COMO Laucala, sitting on a lawned incline above the palm groves that reach out to the ocean’s edge.
The restaurant — flanked by mature mango, mountain apple and cinnamon trees — is an elegant mix of white wood walls, pale leather and rattan furniture, with the slow beat of overhead ceiling fans. The doors open up to a verandah-style terrace to catch the morning breeze. There is also a private dining area seating 16.
