Sonnet Stanfill is senior curator of 20th century and contemporary fashion at the V&A, where she has worked since 1999.
Her past exhibitions include “Ossie Clark” (2003), “New York Fashion Now” (2007) and co-curation of “Ballgowns: British Glamour Since 1950” (2012).
Her major 2014 exhibition, “The Glamour of Italian Fashion 1945-2014”, travelled to four museums in North America. Stanfill has published and lectured widely on varied aspects of fashion design. She holds an MA in the history of dress from the Courtauld Institute of Art.
