Join Stott’s “Postcards to Space” project by writing postcards with artwork and messages about your hopes and dreams for the future. These postcards will be sent up to space and returned to you as a keepsake with a “flown in space” stamp.

Using our bodies and other materials for this unique project, let’s all work together to make a huge art piece that can be seen from the sky.

Leave your unique mark on an art space suit! Quilted together with artwork from children all over the world, it is an awesome symbol of the connection between art and space.

About the Astronaut
Stott is a veteran NASA Astronaut with two spaceflights and 104 days working in space. She creatively combines her spaceflight experience with artwork to inspire appreciation of our role as crewmates here on Spaceship Earth.
Stott founded the Space for Art Foundation — uniting a planetary community of children through the awe and wonder of space exploration, and the healing power of art.
