Tuscany is renowned as one of Italy's finest olive oil-producing regions. In Chianti, extra virgin olive oils are typically greener and more intense, with distinctive aromas of artichoke, almond, freshly cut grass, and balsamic or vegetal notes.
During this one-hour guided tasting, our expert will introduce you to the traditional cultivation methods behind Chianti's most characteristic oils, as well as the unique production process of COMO Castello Del Nero's own olive oil. You'll sample a curated selection of fine Italian oils, accompanied by local pecorino cheese, honey, and toasted homemade bread the classic Tuscan fettunta. The tasting also includes two glasses of Chianti Classico wine.
Our tasting sessions can accommodate up to ten guests and take place from Tuesday to Saturday. Reservations must be made by 4.00pm on the day.
