COMO Culinary Odyssey is a year-long journey celebrating the rich cuisine and culinary traditions of Bali. This series of events showcases signature dishes from six distinct regions – Bangli, Buleleng, Karangasem, Jembrana, Gianyar, and Klungkung.
The third edition of our year-long culinary journey sees us travel to Buleleng, where vibrant coastal flavours are paired with cocktails crafted from Gwan Gwan Hoo - Bali’s legendary arak.
In the second edition of our COMO Culinary Odyssey, we experienced the bold flavours of Gianyar.
Curated by Chef Kadek Sugiantara, the menu was a tribute to the vibrant culinary traditions of this central Balinese region, showcasing Gianyar’s signature dishes and authentic flavours.
In the first edition of our year-long Culinary Odyssey, Bangli’s authentic flavours took centre stage — from Loloh Cemcem to Mujair Nyat Nyat — in a menu curated by Chef Kadek Sugiantara to evoke the region’s lush volcanic landscapes and rich culinary heritage.

Chef Kadek Sugiantara, the Executive Chef of COMO Uma Canggu, proudly brings the flavours of his hometown, Bangli, to life. Drawing inspiration from the region’s culinary heritage, he showcases dishes like Loloh Cemcem and Betutu Keren Bangli with fresh, local ingredients and traditional techniques. With a deep passion for preserving Bangli’s cultural essence, Chef Kadek ensures every dish tells a meaningful story and creates an unforgettable dining experience.
