COMO Journey: From Sea to Self

In the first week, join Burns' first Open Studio session, Seascape of the Soul, which invites guests to witness and participate in the early stages of creating his signature residency artwork. This will be followed by a COMO Conversation, during which Burns will share his personal connection to the sea and the ways in which it has shaped his creative process and inner transformation.

Guests who wish to explore their creativity in a more intimate setting may book optional private workshops, available through advance reservation.

The second Open Studio session offers guests the chance to observe Burns' evolving artistic process and engage in creative dialogue, followed by another COMO Conversation featuring candid insights into Burns' life, art and the resilience that fuels his work.

Throughout the week, Burns will continue to develop his paintings and signature residency piece, offering guests a unique glimpse into the unfolding of his artistry.

The week ends with an art appreciation dinner event, optional for guests who wish to connect with Burns in a social setting.

The third Open Studio session invites guests to be part of the final creative stages as Burns completes his residency artworks. The week culminates in a cocktail reception and exhibition, where guests can view the completed pieces and celebrate the residency's conclusion.

The last days of Burns' residency will be dedicated to final guest engagements, along with the coordination of art sales and shipping arrangements for those wishing to acquire a piece of Burns' work.
