About your host

Celia Brooks is a Colorado-born chef, author and TV presenter who has called London home for over two decades. Her career began as a private chef for film director Stanley Kubrick before she established herself as a pioneer in London’s culinary scene.

Brooks is the founder of Gastrotours, the city’s original food tour company, and has been exclusively licensed by Borough Market to lead their official tasting tours for more than 20 years. A passionate advocate for authentic flavour and storytelling, she has authored nine internationally published cookbooks, sharing her knowledge of ingredients, techniques and the joy of eating well.
