Despite his international accolades, Chef Steven remains passionate about local ingredients and authentic Thai techniques, blending creativity with cultural respect to create a truly memorable dining experience.

CULINARY BACKGROUND

Michelin-starred Chef Steven Black brings over 40 years of global culinary experience to Nahmyaa. Formerly based in London and Kent, he now helms the kitchen at Nahmyaa, combining bold local flavours with refined techniques. His passion for quality ingredients and creative flair shapes Nahmyaa’s distinctive and vibrant dining experience.

Chef Black earned Michelin stars at Berkeley Square Restaurant in London and Eastwell Manor Hotel in Kent, before leading Wildflower at COMO The Treasury in Perth. Here, he earned two Chef Hats and the title Chef of the Year from the Australian Hotel Association.
