Job Purpose:
To support and execute sales activities for COMO Metropolitan Bangkok, with a focus on developing and maintaining corporate accounts, identifying new business opportunities, and achieving revenue targets. The Sales Manager is responsible for building client relationships, coordinating with internal teams, and ensuring excellent service delivery to drive business growth.

Tasks / Responsibilities

Sales Management:

  • Conduct regular sales calls to existing and prospective corporate accounts.
  • Develop and maintain a client database, ensuring accurate contact details and account information.
  • Secure new business opportunities and grow assigned accounts to meet sales targets.
  • Prepare action plans for key accounts and review progress with the Cluster DOS Director of Sales.
  • Handle client correspondence promptly and maintain good rapport with other departments.
  • Assist with organizing and hosting familiarization trips for corporate clients and bookers.
  • Host client lunches, dinners, or property inspection as part of relationship management.
  • Participate in trade shows, roadshows, and sales calls as assigned.
  • Monitor competitor activities, market trends, and customer feedback to adjust sales strategies
  • Support the development of tactical sales promotions and packages in collaboration with the marketing and revenue teams.
  • Work closely with the Revenue and Reservations teams to align pricing strategies, forecast demand, and maximize revenue opportunities
  • Support account engagement through consortia platforms (e.g., Lanyon, Cvent, Amex THC) and ensure hotel information is updated across relevant channels.
  • Contribute to the sales and marketing plan by implementing activities for the corporate market segment.
  • Provide input into the annual sales budget and contribute ideas for driving revenue across segments.

Event & Client Support:

  • Assist in coordinating corporate meetings, conferences, and group requirements with the Operations team.
  • Assist in managing client concerns, feedback, or service recovery in collaboration with Operations to ensure satisfaction.
  • Attend industry events to represent the hotel and build business opportunities (e.g., TIME, National Day Function, Chamber Networking).
  • Ensure client requests are acknowledged and responded to within 24 hours.
  • Draft proposals and contracts based on client requirements and hotel standards.
  • Prepare group resumes/action plans and share with relevant departments before group arrival.
  • Sends thank-you notes and follow-up surveys to clients after events to maintain relationships.

Administration & Reporting:

  • Submit weekly sales itineraries, sales call reports, and monthly productivity updates.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in company CRM (Cendyn).
  • Ensure client files, correspondence, and contracts are well-organized and current.

Other Responsibilities:

  • Uphold COMO’s brand values and service culture in all client interactions
  • Maintain professional grooming, attire, and conduct in line with COMO standards.
  • Participate in training sessions and team meetings as required.
  • Support sustainability practices and COMO’s “Cares” culture initiatives.

Performance Evaluation Criteria:
