COMO Cordeillan-Bages is a 19th-century château set among two hectares of vineyards in the historic hamlet of Bages, Pauillac, on Bordeaux’s Left Bank. In 1989, it was converted into a hotel by the Cazes family, whose wine estate — the renowned Château Lynch-Bages, producing one of the Left Bank's most treasured Crus Classés — is just a two-minute drive away. Now part of COMO Hotels and Resorts, this intimate, 28-room hotel brings together contemporary design, precise service, and a restaurant by Consultant-Chef Fabien Ferré, among the youngest chefs to run a three-Michelin-starred restaurant in France.

History

Once a quiet wine estate, Château Cordeillan was revived by the Cazes family in 1986 as a welcoming retreat rooted in Médoc’s wine traditions. Guided by partners in gastronomy, design and wine education, it evolved into a refined hotel that celebrated learning, connection and the pleasure of good wine. Since opening in 1989, the château has become a recognised culinary and cultural destination. As COMO Cordeillan-Bages, it continues to share the art of living at the heart of the Médoc.
