Meet Jonathan Ong
Singaporean violinist and founding member of the Verona Quartet
Jonathan Ong is a US-based Singaporean violinist and founding member of the internationally acclaimed Verona Quartet. A laureate of prestigious competitions including Concert Artists Guild, Wigmore Hall, Fischoff and Melbourne, he has performed at leading venues including Carnegie Hall, Wigmore Hall and Philharmonie de Paris, as well as renowned festivals across Europe, Asia and North America.
Ong was also featured as a soloist with the Singapore Symphony Orchestra for Singapore’s 60th National Day Concert. A recipient of the Cleveland Quartet Award, he is Assistant Professor of Chamber Music at Oberlin College and Conservatory and holds artistic leadership roles at Credo Summer Festival and Lunenburg Academy.
