ULUWATU KECAK DANCE

The Uluwatu Sunset Kecak is a must-watch dance performance while in Bali. Located in Uluwatu Temple – the second most important temple in Bali, one hour from COMO Uma Canggu – the dance takes place against a backdrop of a view overlooking the south-western coast of the island. The kecak dance features hundreds of men in black and white sarongs by lamplight, telling the traditional tale of Rama and Sita. Our resort concierge can assist with booking tickets.

HUJAN LOCALE

Hujan Locale is a slow food concept created by Scottish celebrity chef, Will Meyrick, and located 10 minutes by car from COMO Uma Ubud. ‘Slow food’ refers to the method of cooking, where many of the dishes on the menu are cooked until flavours are completely merged and meat is fall-apart tender. Hujan’s ethos is to source food locally and ethically, with Meyrick often travelling to villages and local markets to procure ingredients.
