Our team will design the perfect stay for couples, which includes setting you up on your individual Wellness Paths, from Detox to Ayurveda. For some, this is an opportunity to unwind after a big wedding; for others, it's simply a moment to have to yourselves, in one of the most magical riverine forests on Earth.
Couples’ Massage Workshop
Held in the Estate’s wellness centre, the 75-minute Couples’ Massage Workshop is a private session led by one of COMO Shambhala Estate’s resident therapists. You will be introduced to chair- and massage bed-based techniques drawn from established healing traditions, beginning with a clear explanation of the anatomy of the back and its principal muscle groups before practising on one another.
Picnic beside a healing waterfall
A stone-stepped trail descends through the jungle to Kedara Water Garden, a secluded pool and waterfall where you can linger over a private picnic lunch. The menu brings together COMO Shambhala Kitchen and the flavours of Bali: perhaps wild rice salad with beetroot and tahini and prawn rice-paper rolls, alongside tuna sambal matah (grilled tuna topped with Balinese salsa). Dadar gulung (sweet coconut pancakes) and tropical-fruit satay provide a sweet finish to an afternoon far removed from the outside world.
Dine by candlelight
For an intimate evening, The Tea House is an open-air pavilion poised above the valley, where you can enjoy a private four-course dinner by candlelight. Choose from COMO Shambhala Kitchen dishes or a tasting menu inspired by the different regions of Bali. Meals might begin with an aromatic Balinese chicken broth, followed by sate lilit ikan (seafood skewers) and a main of flaked salmon and quinoa tabbouleh. For dessert, there's passionfruit "cheesecake" with coconut crust, or a plate of traditional Balinese sweets with jackfruit sorbet.
