Our COMO Shambhala Retreat is an elegant, cocooning sanctuary of wellness with views of the surrounding Tuscan hillsides. We offer bespoke massages, revitalising soaks in our thermal suites, and summer swims in our 25-metre heated outdoor pool.
This treatment begins with a welcome foot ritual, followed by a full-body exfoliation using an anti-oxidising combination of sea salt and the Estate’s own olive oil. This soothes and softens skin. Tuscan lavender-infused olive oil is then used in a massage aimed at inducing deep relaxation and calm through long and soothing stretching movements.

Meaning 'peace' in Sanskrit, Shambhala alludes to the pursuit of balance. It defines the essence of the COMO Shambhala approach to holistic wellness, combining modern science with ancient practices to align mind, body and spirit.
Our wellness centre at COMO Castello del Nero was one of our larger retreats, offering a wide range of treatments, experiences, products and activities.
Complementing these services is our signature COMO Shambhala Kitchen, featuring healthful nutrition-optimised dishes using pure ingredients in nourishing combinations.

Scheduled complimentary classes and private lessons are available in our sun-filled yoga studio and Pilates studio fitted with Cadillac-Reformer machines. Or, simply lounge in our relaxation room overlooking the countryside.
