On November 5th, join Lama Khenchen Sonam Gyeltshen for an intimate COMO Conversation exploring meditation, mindfulness and the role of contemplative practice in Bhutanese life.
Lama Khenchen Sonam Gyeltshen began his monastic journey at Dechen Phodrang Monastery at the age of eight, before continuing his Buddhist studies in India for ten years. Upon returning to Bhutan, he served as a teacher at several monasteries, sharing his knowledge of Buddhist philosophy and practice. He is currently the Principal of Sangchen Dorji Lhendrup Nunnery in Wolakha, Punakha, where he continues to guide and educate members of Bhutan's monastic community.
Drawing on his lifelong monastic journey and experience as a teacher, the Lama will share his personal insights into Buddhist philosophy, before inviting guests to engage in an open conversation on how mindful practices can bring greater awareness and balance to everyday life.
