Position: Room Service Server
Base Location: Parrot Cay, Turks and Caicos Islands
Department: Food and Beverage
Reports into: Restaurant Manager
Tasks/Responsibilities:
- As service center operator, to receive all manner guest request, from housekeeping services to restaurant reservations, then to channel request promptly and accurately to the relevant departments.
- As room service waiter, to take orders in the absence of the assigned service center operators in a timely fashion and deliver them quickly according to standard procedures.
- Ensure that room service tray are properly set up according to each meal period and order.
- Check outgoing orders for accuracy and quality of setup
- Executes service to villas
- Ensure proper clearing of soiled equipment, maintains equipment in a clean and spotless manner.
- Performs any task deemed necessary by management for the efficient running of operation of the property in general.
- Solves minor operational problems.
Key Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience in room service, hospitality, or food and beverage is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
- Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) or order management systems.
